Sir Alex Ferguson has hinted that Chris Eagles is ready to become a part of Manchester United's first-team picture.Over the last few seasons Eagles has barely been seen at Old Trafford as he has spent time on loan at Watford, Sheffield Wednesday and Dutch outfit NEC Nijmegen.
Eagles, though, returned to United for the latter part of last season and was involved in their successful run-in to the Premier League title, scoring a memorable goal at Everton on the way.
Now Eagles has played his part in United's pre-season tour of Asia and he seems to have impressed Ferguson.
"Chris Eagles has matured and improved a lot since he came back to us," said Ferguson.
"He is still only 21 and he has got a great future ahead of him."
