New Reds signing Anderson collected a winners' medal as Brazil cruised to victory in Sunday's Copa America final.
The 19-year-old was an unused substitute in the match but couldn't hide his joy at the final whistle, dancing and celebrating with his team-mates.
Meanwhile, United defender Gabriel Heinze and transfer target Carlos Tevez were forced to endure the bitter taste of defeat as Argentina never recovered from Julio Baptista's stunning fourth-minute strike.
The Samba superstars went on to score twice more, first via an own goal just before the break when Argentina captain Roberto Ayala turned in a menacing cross, and then in the 69th minute when Sevilla striker Daniel Alves coolly completed a lightning counter-attack.
Argentina had been tipped to win the final after showing stunning form throughout the competition. Brazil, on the other hand, had stuttered to the final, losing their opening group game to Mexico and needing penalties to dispose of Uruguay in the semi final.
The loss denied Argentina a record 15th Copa America win and handed Brazil their eighth title.

haha..surprising. I think Brazil left the best to the last. Some more, one must note that they are without their big guns - whereas Argentina has a full squad.

Anderson failed to impress in this tournament. I still have doubts on him, seriously.
Cheers. CK
