Sven Goran Eriksson has taken on hard-man Roy Keane with an audacious bid to hijack Sunderland's £5.5million bid for Manchester United winger Kieran Richardson. The new Manchester City manager, who handed the 22-year-old his England debut, made contact with the player's advisers in a bid to persuade him to move to United's local rivals.
