Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho insists he's not bothered by United's dazzling new squad.
While Reds fans have welcomed international stars Nani, Anderson and Owen Hargreaves this summer (with Carlos Tevez seemingly destined for Old Trafford as well), Blues supporters have had to settle for French winger Florent Malouda and three arrivals on free transfers (Steve Sidwell, Tal Ben Haim, Claudio Pizzaro).
Even Sir Alex admitted earlier this week he was surprised by the lack of big-name signings in the Premier League. But Mourinho is adamant Chelsea have what it takes to mount another title challenge.
"It's not our problem if the other squads change or don't change," he said. "We know what we want and we trust the squad that we have. The only player we've bought is Malouda and we are happy with that."
The 44-year-old, who steered Chelsea to victory in the FA Cup last season, says he doesn't believe in change for change's sake.
"Our squad is almost the same [as last season]. Why? Because it's good. We trust and know the success we've had in the last three seasons with this group. We know they can give us something."
Mourinho also hinted at a perceived shift in expectations for the coming campaign.
"When we spent millions, everybody pointed at us as the team with more responsibility because we were the big spenders in the market. That's not the case this season." -

Actually Chelsea got the best bosman signing in recent years - Ben Haim. Not only is he a good backup for Terry and Carvalho, his arrival also paves way for Boularhouz to say bye bye.
United obvious weakness last season was the strength in depth. Silvestre, Fletcher, O'Shea and Richardson are never gonna make it big a United and Brown only did well marginally.
The signings - Anderson, Nani and Hargreaves adds quality depth in squad. It also signals United's intention for the next season - win as many trophies as they can.
