I can tell this season is very promising..almost all the clubs are very active this transfer season..some weird transfers (Bent to Spurs for so much
)..some potential discoveries (torres and hargreaves)...will there be surprises or will it be the same usual 4 way race.. I foresee Sunderland ending up in the upper table.. My predictions..
1. Nani and Anderson doing extremely well for the upcoming season.
2. Darren Bent being flop of the season injuring himself most of the season
3. Torres doing very well leaving Crouch as benchwarmer most of the time.
4. Berbatov not doing well as he was expected to do..
5. The decline of Chelsea...

It's hard to predict for Nani and Anderson. They do need time to get settled, so i'm trying not too expect too much from them.
As for Bent's move in, I feel Jol might go 4-3-3. I dunno why, but i feel that unless he wants to play like how sg did a few years back, playing 5 behind and 5 forward with 0 in midfield, he has way too many strikers for 4-4-2. We'll see for spurs then.
As for Torres, if the support doesn't come in, I dun think he can do much. With that reputation of his, and with the club he's now playing for, i think defenders will go in especially hard on him. I mean, look at Reyes, practically kicked out of the game.
As for Chelsea, they aren't immune to certain things. And u can't win forever. -

I like Davis but he moved on. I admire Barry but he at best, can only be a second string player at any top club. I respect O'Neill's management skills.
Young, Agbonlahor and Moore are getting better and better. Gardner is proving to be an excellent find of last season. Aiya, Villa wont die under O'Neill's guidance. All Villa need is a striker like David Villa and a much more creative set of midfielders.

i foresee the crown coming back to OT again and sunderland to push for top half of table or a possible uefa cup.
hargreaves will be a key utility player for man u for this coming season.
nani and anderson to be used sparingly and dazzle when theyy get the chance.

torres to be tied with berbatov for top scorer
bent and mccarthy to not live up to expectations
