Manchester United's Italian striker Giuseppe Rossi is reportedly a target for Champions League holders AC Milan in his homeland.
The Italian Under-21 international, who has failed to nail down a regular first-team place at Old Trafford, will slip further down Sir Alex Ferguson's pecking order if United complete the signing of Carlos Tevez from West Ham.
Rossi endured an unsuccessful loan spell at Premiership side Newcastle in the first half of last season, before United agreed to loan him to Serie A side Parma in the January transfer window. And, after he fired the goals to keep them in the Italian top flight, Parma made a £6million bid to keep him on a permanent basis, but Rossi expressed a desire to stay at United.
However reports in Italy on Sunday are suggesting Milan will now make an offer for Rossi and the player is thought to be interested in making the switch to the San Siro.
Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti is set to be left with just three forwards ahead of next season, in the shape of Ronaldo, Alberto Gilardino and veteran Pippo Inzaghi, as Ricardo Oliveira is on the verge of joining Real Zaragoza on loan. And a bid for Rossi could be in the reckoning after vice-President Adriano Galliani holds transfer talks with owner Silvio Berlusconi on Tuesday.

Wah, if Rossi moves to Milan and makes a name for himself, Fergie will feel a kick in his nut.
Cheers. CK
