Rather Saha to go
Saha is still valuable for his stature and presence, ditto Smith, though Saha is the better of them two.
It does seem though, that if Rossi were to be released, United will be playing Anderson more upfront, leaving the central midfield to Hargreaves, Scholes, Carrick and Fletcher.
It does seem that United are starting to favour the more fluid attack of a solid backfour, 2 central midfielders, then 4 attackers capable of playing in all 4 positions.
Personally, i think Rossi can still fit in. I prefer that they play with a backfour, 2 central midfielders, 3 attackers interchanging infront of the 2 central mids, and Rossi up top.
Hopefully this news doesn't prove true, and Rossi can try to establish himself in the United squad
