The pursuit of Owen Hargreaves was long and well documented, but United caught everyone out with the double swoop for Anderson and Nani - all three new Reds share pride of place in August's Inside United, on sale now.
The official mag is packed full of features looking ahead to the new season. For anyone who's forgotten just how busy Sir Alex has been wheeling and dealing in his 20 years at OT, we look back at every player signed under his tenure.
Of course one player United never had to bid for is stalwart Ryan Giggs. He first appeared for United 16 years ago, later that year earning his Wales debut. A month after the last of his 64 caps, some of the principality's finest reflect on the international career of one of Wales' greatest ever players.
Elsewhere, we visit the set of TV show Shameless, where tensions run high between loyal Reds and those of a bluer persuasion. And, as it's supposed to be summer, cricketer and lifelong-Red Ryan Sidebottom - son of former United centre-half, Arnie - talks about his love of the club.

It's avaliable in quite a few places. The best issue was this silver commerative issue that they released specially to celebrate winning the title. It retails for abt $16 or so.

Yea, i have been buying the magazine now and then and the price keeps soaring. It retails at $14.90 now.
