Reds' summer signing Anderson says being given the chance to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo was too good an offer to turn down.
The Brazilian international, currently away with his country at the Copa America, finalised his switch to Old Trafford from FC Porto earlier this week after the club received confirmation of his work permit.
The 19-year-old admits his desire to work with last season's Premier League Player of the Year was a huge incentive to join the Reds.
“The chance to play with Cristiano Ronaldo was enough to bring me to United - he is a worldwide star," insisted Anderson. “I can’t wait to set up a goal for him. He is a spectacular player who has improved so much at United and I want to do the same.
“I will be proud to play alongside him and prove that Brazilians can flourish in the Premier League. I will be a strong player."
Anderson insists his main priority in his debut season will be to help United retain their Premiership crown.
“The aim is to win the title and stop Chelsea winning it. I can’t wait," he said. "This is a dream move, one I could not reject. Now I am looking forward to arriving and playing without fear."

Anderson savours 'dream move'
Anderson admits he could not reject the chance to join Manchester United and was always confident he would receive a work permit.
United have spent in the region of £17million to bring the Brazilian midfielder to Old Trafford from Portuguese champions Porto.
The club had to appeal to secure a work permit for the teenager, who was never worried he would miss out on his 'dream move'.
With clearance to play for the Red Devils next season, Anderson is relishing the chance to line up alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.
"I am my own man and do not want comparison with players like Ronaldinho because he is the king," said Anderson in the Daily Star.
"I am still very young, and have a huge desire and hunger to play for Manchester United.
"I never really thought there was a problem in me getting permission to play for United.
"The directors at United always made me feel confident that the move would go through and said there was nothing to worry about, although there was an appeal.
"Now I am looking forward to arriving and playing without fear.
