We've known for ages that Wayne Rooney has one of the Premiership's deadliest shots - now the Manchester United and England star has proved as much in a new viral for Nike.The ad, for the new Total90 Laser boot, was shot at Nike's US headquarters in Oregon and shows Rooney drawing a target on to the screen of a camera, before jogging 50 yards away with a ball at his feet.

The new viral ad proves 21-year-old Rooney - with his reputation for scoring spectacular goals - is one of the sharpest shooters in world football. And after helping United to the Premiership title last season, Rooney cannot wait for the new campaign to begin. "The players know their role in keeping up the club's amazing history and success," he said.
"It's not just about winning the odd trophy, it's about winning them all the time. Players in the past have set the standard, now we've got to carry it on."
Amazing accuracy. At least this looks more realistic than Ronaldinho hitting-the-ball-to-the-crossbar-and-the-ball-bounces-back-to-his-feet.
