I dont see why Anderson is being bought to the club. United needs a striker more than a central midfielder so Fergie's decision to sign him comes as a surprise.
Cheers.

It seems that Fergie wants to play with a more fluid attack. If you notice, the new signings can play in various positions in attack. Fergie has always liked his wingers to switch flanks and last season, he's constantly shuffled his attackers during the match.
Anderson can play as a winger on either side, as well as a central attacking midfielder or even further forward as a trequartista or supporting striker. Similarly, Nani, Cristiano Ronaldo and Rooney can play in all the above positions, with the exception of the central midfield role.
As such, I expect that the 4 of them at least, will be rotated around constantly during a match to confuse markers. Also, as for recent South American signings, Heinze has done pretty well don't you think?
