United defender Gabriel Heinze should line up for Argentina in the early hours of Friday morning as Alfio Basile's side look to end a 14-year trophyless run.
Argentina face the United States of America in their Copa America opener, and Basile is under huge pressure to deliver silverware.
Heinze, who has shelved talk of his United future until after the tournament, is expected to start in the centre of defence.
Former United midfielder Juan Sebastian Veron is back in the fold, while playmaker Juan Roman Riquelme has backtracked on his international retirement to take part.
"We haven't won anything since 1993 and the pressure is great," admitted Internazionale striker Hernan Crespo.
"I'm happy that everyone has taken to the cause and promised to give everything for the team. Nobody was forced to come."

I hope he doesn't leave United. And hopefully Lyon makes bids for Silvestre and Saha and Sunderland lands Richardson.
