which striker here you think will come next season

ok, imagine alex really going for another striker. who you think will come.OR who you want them to play for man utd =)
1. eidur gudjohnsen *a bit old, but is said to be interested a move to man u.
2. defoe. *heard that days is suprs days will be gone or more limited pitch apperances. he is fast, and goal scoring not bad, but a bit selfish
3. nugget *young, pacy, but is he good enough for the champions.
4. javier saviola *i do feel he like rossi, small tiny. but pacy too am i rite?
5. Fernando Torres *this fellow, dont know will end up where. huge price on him too.
6. Fabio Quagliarella *never seen him played before no comments.
7. Klaas-Jan Huntelaar *i dont think he will leave his club.
so....what u think, and who you prefer. -
i would hope to see young talents like Nugget.

Lets go thru this list.
1. Gudjohnsen is not good enough, 'nuff said.
2. Defoe seemed to be good, but his stature works against him. Also, he likes to shoot from range, and thus, wastes chances. Dun think i want him in my squad.
3.Nugent seems quite ok. Haven't seen him play much, but he does seem to gamble a bit and play like a goal poacher. Unproven, but worth a try. Cheap too, and there's plenty of clubs who want him if United do get him, but wanna offload him.
4.Saviola would be nice. He is a free agent anw. But i wldn't like him to lead the attack, his size works against him.
5.Torres seems like he'd rather head to Liverpool. I remb at the start of the season, The Sun reported that United had already paid a 5million pound downpayment on him for a deal eventually worth 25million quid. Right.
6. Quagliarella seems the most likely of all listed here. From what I've seen, he does seem to be more of an instinctive striker. Haven't seen his shots to goal ratio, but his style doesn't quite seem to United now. Likes to hog the ball.
7.Huntelaar seems a bit lightweight at times. Instinctive goal poacher who's sort of a mix of Pippo Inzaghi and RVN. Would likely be expensive and might resist a move away, especially since Ajax were just pipped to the title by PSV on the last day by goal difference.
I'd like Afonso Alves as always, tall, strong, with good movement and he's a dead-ball specialist in the mould of Juninho Pernambucano. I believe he'd suit United as of the times I've seen him, he's always passing and moving,the United way. The lure of European football from United might be too tempting to resist. -

He's got time on his side, he's still young, and so can be shaped to play the way United play.
He's Brit, so is unlikely to to face any immigration problems like Anderson, my favourite option Afonso Alves might face them. Also, if he fufills his potential, he's likely to be an England regular, and with Rooney a regular in the striking department, any extra time spent playing together at such a high-level is always good for United.
Only thing is that he's unproven so he's a risk. Fergie might want more proven players in that field, so it might be unlikely that he'll come. Still, as always, we'll see. -
