New Manchester United recruit Anderson is confident he will make a major impact in the Premiership.
The Brazil midfielder is representing his country in Copa America and has yet to meet up with manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
However, the former Porto star is convinced his style of play will be suited to the top league in England.
"This is part of a project," he told Globo Esporte about the move to Old Trafford. "My career was planned by my family and my representatives.
"To do well at Gremio, later go to Europe and then to join a great club.
"Now I am in Manchester, it is a different education for me, but I am certain that I will adapt well in England.
"I've still not had any contact with the people in Manchester, only the directors.
"I only go and present myself after the Copa America.
"English soccer is seen by the whole world, including back in Portugal, and I have already faced some of their teams.
"The football is strong and fast but I think that my style of game will match the opponents well."

Anderson: I Owe It All To My Family
New Manchester United signing is excited by the challenge he will face in the Premiership. He also thanked his family for all that they had done for him.
The youngster is currently preparing for the Copa America in Venezuela, in which Brazil face Mexico on Wednesday evening.
"My career I owe to my family," he began, speaking of his journey from Gremio to Manchester United.
"From starting well at Gremio, later going to Europe to join a great club like Porto and now making an even bigger step - at 19 - to join Manchester United is incredible.
"Everything will be different in England, I know that. But I am certain I will adjust quickly to life in England.
"In just a short time I have managed to impress for the Selecao and win a place in the squad for the Copa America, which is a very important tournament."
"I am proud, as is my family. For me, everything is new, it's a dream come true."
