its a bit lonely in the transfer news? thought they getting a a striker? now smith is leaving...
july is coming, soon who else will they get? because they have more $ now from beckham and van.
dont tell me, they keep rossi, sell smith, and wait for ole, healthy again. -

I think he can but he is more of a winger and quick pace like Ronaldo...

thought anderson is much more a winger than shooting rate. hm ..=( so this year man utd going for pace, and everyone is a striker

Anderson is more a AM - attacking midfielder.
MUFC did well when they did not have a regular striker when Saha was out, relying on their fluid play involving all forwards such as Giggis, Ronaldo, Rooney,& Scholes.
But Milan neutralizes that by sticking a boot into any attacks so SAF may need another tactics... -
It does seem like they're not goin for an out and out striker now.
It does seem like a shift of tactics with the players that they're bringing in, and they do seem to be trying to play the total football style of Johan Cryuff.
Don't forget, there are more midfielders, and there's only 11 places on the field. I doubt Carrick will be left out in favour of Hargreaves as Carrick offers quite a bit to the team, Scholes is invaluable and Hargreaves won't be bought to just warm the bench.
Then again, i'm always hoping for a surprise announcement like the Nani and Anderson captures. We'll just have to wait and see. -

Even Anderson's arrival isn't confirmed yet. They still haven't gotten a work permit for him.

Hmm..Nugent might be a risky choice.
I'd prefer SAF to go for someone with more experience. -
anyone coming in should be better than Smith or Rossi since these two are going to be sold, logical right?
