Portugal coach Luiz Felipe Scolari believes new Manchester United signing Anderson can be a big star over the next few years. The Red Devils signed the Brazilian youngster from Porto earlier in the summer, while also swooping for Sporting LisbonÂ’s Nani.
Scolari told the Manchester Evening News: "Anderson has joined a good English club and he is one that, probably inside the next two years, will be one of the biggest names in Europe.
"He'll achieve that if he continues the progression that he had with Porto."
United are still waiting to hear if their application for a work permit for Anderson has been successful. However, if it is rejected, they are still expected to be successful on appeal.
