Toffees close to Bardsley capture

Everton have reportedly agreed a £2million fee to bring highly-rated Manchester United defender Phil Bardsley to Goodison Park
The 21-year-old had loan spells at Rangers and Aston Villa last season but neither side signed him permanently and now Toffees boss David
Moyes has made his move, according to The Sun.
It is believed Bardsley would be reluctant to leave Old Trafford, but the chances of him winning a regular first-team slot appear slim.
His loan spell at Rangers turned sour after a bust-up with then-boss Paul Le Guen and he returned to the Premier League with Villa in January.
Should Bardsley make the move to Merseyside, he would become the club's second signing of the summer, following the capture of goalkeeper Tim Howard, also from Manchester United. -
I'd like Bardsley to stay at United though. Why no one bid for O'Shea, Silvestre or Brown?

United Youngster Is Not On The Move
Manchester United youngster Phil Bardsley is not on the way to Everton after his agent dismissed the speculation.
The full-back spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa and after returning to Old Trafford without earning a permanent deal it was felt that he would exit the Premiership champions.
However, reports suggesting that the 21-year-old was heading for Goodison Park seems wide of the mark.
"I don't know where this has come from," his representative Des Wroe said.
"The same story has appeared in the papers for weeks now but it is complete nonsense." -
