Kuszczak: I'm going nowhere
Poland international goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak has once again stated his intention to stay at Manchester United and fight for a place in Sir Alex Ferguson's starting XI.United's recalling of Ben Foster after an impressive loan spell with Watford was thought to have spelt the end for Kuszczak at Old Trafford, even though the youngster will miss the beginning of the season after sustaining a cruciate ligament injury.
"The speculation linking me with a loan move away from Manchester is irritating me," Kuszczak told Polish newspaper Dziennik."This information does not come from the club and I do not intend to go anywhere.
"I have not signed a three-year contract with the biggest club in the world in order to play somewhere else."
Foster's injury means Kuszczak will start the season as United's number two, but fighting for a place with Edwin van der Sar does not faze the Pole, who has set his sights on big things.
"I am not afraid of the competition with Edwin van der Sar. I want to be the number one goalkeeper for both Manchester and Poland and I am ready for this."
