Manchester United chief executive David Gill has told Sky Sports News the Premiership champions are not concerned when Sir Alex Ferguson will retire.
The vastly experienced Scottish tactician is currently in his 20th season with The Red Devils having put off a decision to call it a day back in 2002.
Ferguson recently stated he has not set himself a deadline for retiring, claiming he will carry on until his health no longer allows him to continue.
When asked whether Ferguson still has the hunger and desire to succeed, Gill told Sky Sports News: "I think it's always there to be honest.
"We've never had a chat about (when he will retire). He's on holiday now. I speak to him regularly.
"The issue of when he's going to go was never actually discussed because it's a non issue for us."
Meanwhile, Gill believes United's owners, the Glazer family, will have no problem coughing up to maintain success at Old Trafford.
The Premiership champions have already been busy in the transfer market this summer, having secured deals for Nani, Anderson and Owen Hargreaves.
"It's been an exciting season. They're delighted to have won the Premiership trophy," he continued.
"They've been very supportive. They've actually demonstrated they understand the need to continue to invest in the club.
"They're very sensible and willing to take on some unexpected expenditure."
