Which departure of a United player caused you the most grief

Heh..Im still young..So for me i would say Stam and Keane...
Stam's 1 is dumb. He's like the 1 of the most solid centre back at taht point of time.I'm like absolutely shocked when I first heard the news..

Think some of the older fans here might come up with the likes of Cantona and Kanchelskis?
I think my emotions will be absolutely crumbled come the day when Giggs and Scholes leaves -
Whether it is Ince, Kanchelskis, Stam or Irwin etc, they were all great players. However, the two that left me really sad were Cantona and Beckham.

Stam's departure was a total shock. It was his comments on his book that made Fergie mad and he's shown the door.
His successor, Laurent Blanc, was not exactly the fastest and strongest defender. In that season, i think United went throphy-less and if i can remember correctly, United lost to BLANC in EPL - B for Blackburn, L for Liverpool, A for Arsenal, N for Newcastle and C for Chelsea.

Yeah, i was rather shocked that Fergie was willing to let him go. I mean, Saha is good but he isn't consistent. Van Nist may have his short-comings, but he's quality and he gives his all. It would have been dumb to make him continue playing when he wasn't the force that he once was. Quite a number of those mentioned players are those who somehow managed to piss Fergie off. So it's no surprise that they were shown the door, no matter how good they were.
As for RVN, it was only a matter of time. But we shouldn't feel sad for him because he did not have the best time in Utd during his last years there. At least now he got hell of a great time in RM so I'm actually happy that he left Utd. He deserves better than the bench. -
