What a physics paper.
I hope you found it tedious, but manageable. However, careless mistakes can really kill in this paper.
The PQ was surprisingly doable also-dropping a ball down a slope?!
And then after that ultima will ask me do i take 5 H2.
Felt like this was the least disappointing paper out of everything. Anyway if I calculated the gradient wrongly would I get any ecf for the marks below?
likely. Since this is physics and not math.
good luck all and choose questions wisely for paper3
My different students commented that for Physics P2, they lost between 5 to 20 marks.
for Physics P3, they lost between 16 to 30 marks (max).
I would like to share a simple calculation I shared with all my students.
32/40 for mcq gives 16%
40/60 for P2 gives 16.67%
8/12 for spa planning gives 3.33%
50/80 for P3 gives 21.875%
SPA estimate 12% out of max 15%
Total 69.875%
MCQ will determine your final grade. Please work very hard on it. The higher you score above the 32 marks, the better.
The higher you score for the other components, the better as well.
Note that the above is an indicative goal only. You may be aiming higher or lower than that.
Super super tough MCQ
These are my answers:
BCBDD
CDDBC
ADDCC
ADABD
XDDCC
BCABB
ACDBB
BDCCC
q21 I put as X, because I think it could be either B/C (higher probability of C).
It seems like the question is conceptually wrong.
On average, my students score between 28 to 33. Not very ideal. I set them the minimum target of 32 and up :(
But given that the paper is pretty tough on some parts, I think still not bad. They tried their best :)

relatively manageable i think.
Only slightly more innovative.
Most of the people in my school were scoring above 35.
Should be about there.
Need to be strong in H2 Maths too to be able to tackle Q4 and Q17 properly.
Q27 my guess a number of students might not be able to answer.
Q21 a bit weird.
The rest are indeed quite standard.
Add in careless mistakes, 35 is about right.
Add in forgetfulness and more careless mistakes. 28 to 32 -.-"
