Similar to the unethical and immoral Thailand's Leste Majeste law, anyone in India can accuse anyone else of selling or eating beef, and the victim would arrested and imprisoned, and many Muslims have been falsely accused and even beaten to death by mobs of Hindus. What one chooses to eat, what religion one chooses to believe, one's choice of sexual orientation, etc, should be a matter of personal choice, and not be dictated by others or the state, or worse, face persecution or beatings, murders and assassinations (like the free thinkers in Bangladesh). India, Bangladesh, and so many countries in the world, would become a much better place if they learnt from the Singapore model (perhaps the only country in the world you needn't fear losing your life for making your own personal choices).
Added : As it turns out (what an unexpected surprise /sacarsm), it's again not about religion, about selfish manipulative politics. In ancient times, the higher caste Hindus themselves ate beef. Today's ban on beef in India is nothing more than a political move, to weaken certain political powers and strengthen others, to gain votes from the Hindu majority, even if it costs millions of Muslims (and many Hindus as well) their jobs and livelihoods (it's not just the beef industry that is affected, but dozens of other related industries), sparking anger and divisiveness between Muslims and Hindus, and exacerbating the cycle of poverty for all of India (both Muslims and Hindus suffer), all at the manipulative hands of the elite and corrupt few in positions of power.

[Brazil] - Video posted online of a 16 year old girl gang-raped by over 30 men.
RIO DE JANEIRO - Rio de Janeiro police are investigating allegations that more than 30 men and boys raped a 16-year-old girl, officials said on Friday (May 27), as outrage spread in the host city for the Olympics and reverberated across the country.
The reported assault was discovered after one of the suspects himself posted to Twitter a video of the nude, semi-conscious girl, with a few men brazenly insulting the girl, showing their faces, and one man heard shouting, "more than 30 men impregnated her!"
The Twitter account where the video was posted has since been suspended.
Police said the girl told them more than 30 men had assaulted her, and are still investigating.
"There are all the indications that this rape did in fact happen, but we still have to investigate further before we can confirm exactly how many rapists took part," said Fernando Veloso, head of Rio's civil police department, at a press conference on Friday.
Veloso said police have identified four suspects so far in the assault that apparently took place last Saturday in a western Rio slum - but have yet to make any arrests, saying further investigation is required.

JOHOR BARU, May 27 — An 18-year-old student has alleged that a Road Transport Department (RTD) officer had outraged her modesty while she was undergoing a driving test.
Eng Wei Xin, who is an O-level student in Singapore, alleged the officer had purposely brushed her breast with his forearm during the test at 12.10pm on April 25 at the Bunga Raya Driving School.
