Hi, taking my O's this year, want to know doing physics 1001 or tys better, because i know i am not going to finish both books before exam, my teacher say 1001 will help you get a's but he always use tys to give us homework so i donno, or maybe can actually complete both before exams???
By Physics 1001, I assume you meant the Longman MCQ?
Personally I say finish the TYS first.
The Longman book isn't very good or well planned; a number of the questions are out of syllabus. However, among the available MCQ books, it's one of the better ones. In other words, it's better than doing nothing at all.
Agree with eagle about the Longman/Physics 1001 book. I believe in Popular it is one of the only few MCQ books available.
The Physics 1001 and Longman MCQ book are written by the same author, Tan Peng Yeon. The Physics 1001 is an updated version published by Pearson, which is the parent company of Longman.
I am a full-time tutor, so a few of my students have the Physics 1001 book. The problems mentioned by eagle is valid for the Physics 1001 book.
