Hi Amneisa,
You may like to try Physics/Chemistry or Biology/Chemistry and work on your chemistry. It is a challenge for many chemistry teachers to impart chemistry in an interesting and effective way.
Music - Usually you need ABRSM Grade 6-8 Theory and ability to play an instrument really well. The music industry is really cut-throat. Only a few can make it big. There are not many job prospects for history majors - they end up as teachers or in some media companies or work in museums or arts boutique. The arts route is also tough, some end up as commercial artists or designers.
For history as an O level subject, usually lots of students take combined humanities/social studies. For me personally, geography is more practical than history. Art at O levels is time consuming. So it depends on your interests. Your passion can make you go far.
If u are really confident of A1 or A2 for physics and biology while your chemistry is weak, I implore you to take up triple sciences.
History and Art has nothing to do with most future careers. But all subjects including maths science english mothertongue are not linked with career AT ALL. Almost 1% of what we learned are applied in our future jobs.
It doesn't matter really which subjects u take, as long as u can score as high as possible.
The thing that will affect your future career is the degree u take in university.
Can I still apply for DPA even if I'm still consider to join Lasalle Art College?
Yeah
