The lesbian author writes that her two nieces, 1 in Singapore and 1 in Netherlands, wrote a nearly identical essay, describing how they were inspired by the inner strength of their lesbian aunt (ie. the article author), and the Netherlands teacher gave the essay an A grade, while the Singapore teacher gave the essay an F grade "because homosexuality is wrong in Singapore".
