  i feel like transferring secondary schools. I'm currently staying in sengkang and my secondary school is Xinmin. I feel that not only is the journey to school very long and tiring, but I feel kinda bad becuz I miss a lot of my friends from my old school. I feel like transferring into sjc. I'm a s1 so it shouldn't be too much of a problem. St Joseph convent secondary is near my house and my best friend is studying there. Another main reason I want to be at Sjc is becuz my BFF is there. I really miss her a lot. But our schedules r way too packed. So I wanna see her in school tons. Ok but even if I stop being friends with her, I feel that I'll be over ally happier there than in Xinmin. Please answer my post I've been thinking of transferring for a whole month already! It's affecting my schoolwork!

  Hi Alicia, it's your choice to make! If you think you will like the school environment and spend less time travelling, those are two definite reasons you should change schools. Do it for yourself though, not your friends! Secondary 1 is nothing, you'll have the best years in your upper secondary life, playing and working hard and having many outings! Thinking back, from all my schooling years, secondary school (mine was tanjong katong secondary) was the most enjoyable! I had no regrets there. So just do whatever you can to stay happy! As for actually getting into the school, it depends on your results and the spaces they might still have available. So don't fret, just go for it.

  Distance is one factor of choosing the school. Do you like your friends in Xinmin?

   

  What if you are not in the same class as your bff in SJC?
