To be honest, you can't just sweep the problems under the rug. Whether the results are, we have to face the reality.Last year, I was so upset when I got 21 points with English scoring an E8.
If you results come to worst, here are the few suggestions:
1. Appeal for a course in RP or courses which is nearer to your COP.
2. Go into ITE and retake the subjects.
3. Study yourself at home while preparing for next O level.

It is good to be confident. However, sometimes my words are too good to be true. It is too ridicule to mention A2 for Combined Humanities is 65 marks as they are many more potential students who will do better than you and hence A2 may be 71 or so..

We are taking the old syllabus Combined Humanities so we won't be competing with 4E since they are taking the new syllabus. The rest of the subjects we should be competing with them.
Note: The bell curve will be seperated if different syllabus are tested.

I got
English :E8
E-Maths : B3
Combined Humanities : B3
Chinese : B4
Science : B4
Biology : D7
I retook English, Maths and Combined Humanities.
I retook Maths because I almost practice Maths almost everyday. For Combined Humanities as I mentioned, the competitiveness wasn't very high this year since 4000-5000 students are taking the old syllabus ( mostly from 5NA ) so I can grab this opportunity to retake as most of the informations are retained in my mind, hoping to pull up a grade
can see why english E8
no offence.

Hard to tell.
For every 10 students taking either Maths, English, Science or Combined Humanities, 9 will at least get A1-C6. There are 34,000 to 37,000 taking O level annually.

You will have to see your own results if you are planning to retake again at school. If you have strong subjects scoring A1 to B3 but because one of your subject didn't do well, you can consider going to ITE while you revise on your own.
If your COP is too high or you feel that many of your subject could have improved, you can do as what you stated just now.
