I'm 19 this year and I'm a first year nsf . I have 15 points for my nlevel . But I choose to enter ITE but after some time I quited ITE when I was 17 as I've no idea why I took that course . Now I'm thinking of taking private olevel after ord . Plus I would like also to enter to a JC , is not that I wouldn't want to go to a poly but I like doing school subjects instead of course related . By the time I would be like 22 . Is there an age limit for jc admission
Yes, you can participate in the DSA-JC Exercise if you fulfill the age requirement for the level [i.e. 16 to 20+ for JC1 admission if you are Singaporean Citizen (SC) or Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR)]. If you are non-SC/SPR, you must be between 16 and 18+. If you are given an offer by a JC/Institution, you must achieve GCE ‘O’ Level examination results that meet the eligibility criteria for admission to JCs.
If you are in some stay out vocation, you could go for night classes if your superiors are fine with it. If you are not, then maybe you could self-study (if you have time). You would be overaged for JC by the time you ORD.
Poly has no age limit and there are so many courses in poly to choose from (the choices were more limited many years ago), surely there is one you are interested in? I would suggest that you study hard for private O levels and enrol in a poly course that you like if you can't go to JC due to age limit.
