Hi guys,
I am really in a dilemma now.
For engineering courses, where will you guys choose to go? NTU or NUS? reason?
PLEASE HELP ME.
Nus more happening.
Ntu a bit far.
However, for Bioengineering, ntu does not have bridging modules for physics. nus first have bridging modules. I don't take a level physics. So.....
You don't have Alevel physics and you want to take university level engineering?
Your life is not challenging enough?

Better ask what level maths taken before giving advice.

Let's check first.
I am only 14 years old.

I took h2 maths. I have interest in engineering.
I got a B.
NUS
Better ranked than NTU.
thanks summerhill.
Actually, my issue is that I am afraid that I would not be able to cope with the stress level.
And... I think I have to attend extra english bridging modules.
Summer hill is right that NUS is higher ranked than NTU, and that it is good to have a degree from a more prestigious uni.
On the other hand, you also have to consider your ability, what you want from the course, and whether the course suits your needs.
Did you guys make up this bullshit or did someone else taught you?
They are THE SAME. My eldest brother graduated from NUS, he is now a senior officer in MOE. My 2nd elder brother graduated from NTU, he is now a mechanical engineer and was one of the designers of the Bionix Infantry Fighting Vehicle.
Think about what you want to do after you've gotten your degree, then look at the course offered and see which one fits better. That is, unless you're one of those trust fund babies who don't really have to work, if that's the case simply find a university with the best looking people to hang out with.

That's for public sector. To the government, they are both the same because they are both equally recognised.
As for the private sector, employers will most likely prefer NUS. [http://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/singapore/nus-in-world-s-top-10/1012736.html]
