Just my opinion... it does not matter which JC you are in because what really matters is your determination to do well... there are always caring and teachers who can teach in every single JC... As long as your current JC allow you to choose the subject you want to study and have no bad influence or student who disturb you or distract the class from studying, I personally do not really see the need to move to HCJC. Furthermore, time is precious in JC, travelling 1 hour+ may be a disadvantage especially if you have sports CCA which end extremely late adding on to the late JC dismissal time. You will be left with very little time to revise and do your homework. Do consider carefully and All The Best!
If you can afford it financially, the best lectures and tutorials are always from private tuition. Doesn't mean all private tuitions are of good quality, but those that are of great quality, are better than the lectures and tutorials in schools.
Just saying, in case it turns out you're not allowed to change JCs, but are still are unhappy with the lectures and tutorials from the school you're stuck in, you can consider private tuition (if you can afford it). Just pointing out alternative options.
