Compulsory to study Mother Tongue in JC ?

  Hello guys , i just wanted to ask is it compulsory to take Mother Tongue (CL) as a subject in JC ? I'm currently not study Hmt in secondary school . Is there a way not to take MT in JC ?

  Yes or you can take basic chinese if your o level chinese below c6
