I just want to ask whether if cca points will be affected, as i have got a lot of cca points and it will be a waste if i lost them.. I am currently sec 3, school finished for this year, so next year i will be sec4, i am in express, second in class, very good scores. Also, how do i transfer? do i contact a new school and also contact my current school? or do i jsut contact my current school? Also, any good recommandations? i am in jurong area, but i dont mind school in other areas. please dont try to change my mind about friends and etc, i have changed like 4 schools... If you really want me to change my mind, read this: i changed school from china, to sing tution school thing, to international school to my current secondary school. i am changing because there is a really annoying guy in my class and he basically is mentally sick,seriousy.. as in like, he beat people and all, my school dun care for some reason, i think they think its some kind of play play thing, oh, dont tell me to tell school, i tried to report in my last school, no use, still bullied, so no..i fought back to bullies before, i am big sized but dont like to beat people, but i was pissed last time so i punched him, they dont dare bully me any more.. , so i learnt my lesson, but this mentally insane guy used to be my friend, he joined newly this year, so i mad friends, now hes acting like an asshole, and i dun want to lose my temper or anything(for those of you wondering, i am about 186 tall and 90kg, i do exercise... so.. yeah..) i didnt want to stay also since my school isnt so good, and i am a kinda made fun of because of my accent, i used to be in an international school and got this american accent... i was also bullied in canteen before when my friends werent with me.. so yeah, i deceided to change school. Oh, and about the whole"adapt to new enviroment" thing that i saw on other posts, dont post that excuse.. i came from china, to singapore, then changed house for 7 times... no joke... so i dont really care about a "new enviroment" any more... also, only one more year to go, and i am good at studying, and prefer studying alone. so i dont mind chaging school, i need a "new enviroment" bad or good it will certainly be better than my current school enviroment.
Do not be worried,Cca points should still be valid if you informed the school that you are transferring to a new school.
Well,if you find the environment unconduicive for learning,it's best that you transfer to a better school around jurong areas,Fuhua,Hua Yi. Both schools should be fine and suitable for you, unless you are in one of them and currently facing the bullying problem.
I used to be bullied in primary school and that really affected my mood to study and concentrate.Learning should take place within an environment that is not filled with problems and distractions. These bullies not only bring emotional distress but also serve as an academic distraction in your life.
Sometimes, anger can get the better of you.Try to keep calm and forget about what is happening around you, treat school as your home(if your next school you are entering is an undesired result)
It's great to know that you are doing well in class. You deserve to be in a 'bully-free' environment. From what I know, those who bully others, may only seek to attract attention from their peers(show-off) or have family issues(turn to school violence).Generally, they may not be as well off as you think you are.
Some studying tips along the way:
Get help when you need it from your friends in class(english),they will want to help you.Sometimes, you may be required to teach them in exchange If you teach others you retain your knowledge of the topic better as compared to studying>>it's proven.
Study over time, rather than cramming before a test. Basically, getting straight A’s is hard (if it were easy, everyone would do) so you need to work at it if you want to do this.
Try to plan a homework and assignment schedule so that you can balance time for leisure and studies. That's all,Jia you
