Direct Poly Admission closes on the 9th. i have quite a fair bit of of outstanding achievements certificates and attributes to be able to get into business studies in NP (IF) i secure a place. Going through an interview and have to score below 26 points prior to O levels, so it'll be easier if let say the bell curve just decides to be cruel this year and just pull all my grades down and i wont be able to go anywhere. i would have to cancel the DPA prior to O levels and then maybe opt for jc but the thing about jc is that it is a whole different story already.. And the question would be "Am i able to cope in JC?" Not even getting the O levels results yet. Plus, the only focus i have is business admin or we call it business studies in NP.
So, regarding uni, with the flexible timetable and rigour as compared to JC, wouldn't it be easier to excel in poly and go to uni as compared to JC since the only aim is business? Need opinions on this.. And the points for JC and Poly for going into uni is quite the same vice-versa. GPA: 3.7 and above while for JC: AAA/A (correct me if im wrong) and i doubt i can get straight A's or even B's to get into business in uni.
Plan B would be becoming a PE/CPA teacher... And those who are taking Business Studies in Np or who are doing Business in poly, please share and give me a rough overview of what you guys do in business admin/studies.. Take the Jc route or the Poly route?? Help me out here... :( |

Hi,
Follow your heart and instinct. Try DPA, there is no harm in trying.
JC route is of a very academic nature. Poly route is of a very practical hands-on nature which possibly suits you better.
Excel in the Poly with a conscientious attitude and you can make it to the Uni still, jiayou!
Cheers,
Wen Shih
which do you think is better if trying to enter uni? Jc or poly?
