Please recommend School for diploma in mechanical

  Greeting. I am looking for the course of diploma in mechanical / engineering, any recommend ? 

  I just asked MDIS College, but it is quite expensite $8000+ , poly is cheaper, but take too long to complete ( 2.5 ~ 3 years)

  I am a working adult, just want to earn a diploma to get better promotion / job in future.

  Any opinion will be appreciated.

  Factories are closing one by one in Singapore, so no matter degree or diploma, also will confirm kena retrenched.

  If You want to depend on certifcate or Diploma for promotion, it is better to join Government Sectors, at least the axe will lay on You much later.

  Don't look at Singapore with such a narrow perspective. Jobs aren't that limited, as in, mechinal is to factories and nothing else. You can be a teacher in DNT.

  I heard that there is an new Technical Engineer Diploma in Machine Technology in ITE : http://www.ite.edu.sg/wps/portal/FullTimeCBC , however the website offered only limited info, like if you could use this diploma to further your studies in other local university like NTU or other overseas university beside Germany University, but for job application, should be no problem. You might like to called them to check about it.
