Retaking O levels.Need Help >,< URGENT

  Hey guys.i fail my O lvls badly.i planning to retake as a private candidate.but i have a question.Am i able to study by myself at home with the help of a tutor through this year?Because the Ns deferment letter came and i dont wan to enter Ns yet.Am able to stay at home to study without taking a full time studies or going through Ns?Need advice >.<

  You should give Mindef CMPB a call to confirm that they will allow you to defer NS as a private candidate (because they usually require the student to be enrolled in a recognized school for deferment purposes).

  As to whether you can get good grades as a private candidate with private tuition, the answer is of course it's possible, as long as you're willing to study hard.

  Self study as a private candidate will not get you a NS deferment.
