  actually me dun like dark arts, the 1st spell is really useless. healing magic can help you to restore some hitpoint without getting kill.

  i suspect it might be possible to keep all three magic together. like level 2 mystical power, level 2 dark arts, and level 2 thieving skills.

  The skeleton crew (Dark Arts Level I) and earth fist (Mystical Powers Level II) spells are rather useful, IMO.

  it boosts up your att and def by 10 times, wif it u can get 3 flawless turns and no monsters can hurt u if u time yourself right. manicore and green dragon become gay creatures and died in an instant.

  I think it may also be useful in fighting the bandits. That is one hell of an assignment.

  bandits are a hell lot difficult to counter, u'll nvr know when u encounter the bandit captain. if u used backstab earlier fighting the swordmen, u r going to be dead meat when face others.

  but u must remember thieveing skillsl like only backstab is good. However, Skeletons and Voodoo is also not bad, and you can use them more than once. (though the round won't end as quickly)

  actually Poison Blade is as good as Voodoo too. Skeletons n voodoo are weak against manicore n monsters in quary.
  
  backstab is good esp when u reach level 15, u can headhunt green dragon straightaway without gaining exp to make u stronger. if timing is right, u can get 3 flawless fights n it helps u to collect lot of golds plus exp.

  Voodoo? Thought that one can only be used once. Other skills can be used up to five times.
