#Windows10 spreads to more than 75 million devices http://str.sg/Z7B8
If u see the long history trend of 1 good product, 1 bad product of Microsoft. Since 7 was good, 8 was absolutely horrible, 10 must be good as well.
then again, I'll be waiting up 6 mth to 1 year for win 10 to stablise first. First to jump always kenna alot of bugs...

now they keep prompting to upgrade to 10 FOC. FOC is bullshit, gotta pay dunno wat .....
i not interested. Happy with 7.
on win10 since the day it launched
yes, absolutely free
but i customised it a lot
so it does not really work like how win10 is supposed to
im using a touchscreen laptop
would be more useful for those using tablet pcs
since the advent of win 8, it's more catered to touch screen, IE: mobile or tablet or touch screen monitors/laptop.
they only bring back the start button for those desktop users...
But looking forward, the change is necessary as techs are evolving.
Techs are evolving, yet #, Mono, Python and Ruby are still mostly in English instead of Chinese, Tamil, Melayu, Russian, Japanese, Italian, or German. Sounds like employment for Singaporeans again, perhaps.
my gmail cannot send after installing win10
Personally, I feel that as compared to windows 8.1, windows 10 is more neat. win8.1 have to click-scroll-scroll, some more usually the apps not in alphabetical order. win10 everything is at the taskbar. like win XP.
but the new windows explorer that comes with it, ... I'm not used to the new design.
anyway, for those who are still waiting for the automatic download of windows 10, I suggest you go to Microsoft website, download that media creation tool. Straightaway download windows 10.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/software-download/windows10
Installation time: up to six hours. If I remember correctly, that time I take around four hours, from start of download to the time I am able to use the computer again.
Warning: once you install windows 10, you have to install Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etcetera) again, if you have them previously. Re-insallation takes around three hours.
In total, you need around seven hours to set up Windows 10.
but I think it's worth the time.
in the beginning when you just downloaded windows 10, the windows store application may keep crashing. But after a while, it will not crash.
installed within a few mins.
din need much set up also
using chrome and openoffice. win10 did not relli make much diff to me.
except some aesthetics, which is also quite useless
still pondering if I should upgrade to Windows 10 or just stick to my Windows 8
since free de, just upgrade loh
no loss lah
and can customise to be like win 8 loh (if u do not like those things tt come with win10)
Yaloh, give chance lah, alot of microsoft initiatives sitting at one corner you know.
We got Microsoft Singapore key stakeholder elected with the People's Action Party at Pasir Ris GRC, and if you upgrade till Windows 10 any problem just visit their Facebook pages and talk with ^dino loh, they have one guy that answers every other question you have from Singapore ones till global ones when their candidate is standing as an MP.
Have you tried out codeplex.com, so.cl, visual studio code, visualstudio.com, skype, web matrix, the new spartan browser, and more, and they are almost all free whether in partial or in entirety like Windows 10 because we elected their Microsoft Singapore boss into our Singapore Parliament, it's subtly a nationalised product ya know.
Windows 10 had made few updated regarding the issues experienced by most of the Users and I do believe that these updates will improve user experience.
