Adivce on computer usage and security

I will like to check how to avoid using or sending email or information from one computer to another computer so that if not knowling one computer at one location (say clementi) is infected or somone delibrately install virus and in it and another person not knowingly use the station to send email to another computer at location (say woodlands). Virus infected the station at woodlands and started spreading. Should an invetsigation be conducted, will the investigating party be able to trace the true origina source of the virus or infection?
How to be careful with opening emails or using the internet so as not to avoid being framed?

Firstly, do not open suspicious mails or download attachments from unknown mailers. Spreading your email around may result in receiving infected spam mails. So creating a secondary account with fictitious details will be a good idea. Do not click on unknown links as well. Remember to log off. If like you mentioned, you're using 2 stations or more.. run a quick scan for trojans etc. Delete history and cache as well as cookies. All set to go.
