Sony Ericsson r800i - can't call and send SMS

Greetings, i own a Sony Ericsson r800i. Yesterday all of a sudden whenever i call out to any of my contacts, the moment i dial the contact, the call seems to end by itself for no apparent reason, i tried all of my contacts and the problem still persists. BUT when anyone calls me i am able to pick up. Another problem coming along with it is that the SMS function also could not work as everytime i try to send one and it says that it "could not send". The funny thing is that my 3G is still working and i am still able to go surf the net. Can anyone help me with this problem because this is irritating me alot.
PS. I did pay my bills on time.

Try doing a hard reset (http://cellrb.com/verizon-wireless/how-to-reset-sony-ericsson-xperia-play/).....if still persist.....change SIM card.....if still persist...prepare to pay money for repair at SONY Service Centre or just uy a new phone....Good Luck!
