ok so i am using a old stock acer aspire sa80 (according to sticker on side panel) running pentium 4 xp 32 bit and its like 7 yrs old.
so i was complaining that my com was unusually slow a few days ago, then my mom sent it to this repair guy in hougang green mall when i went to school.then when i came home and turned it on everything was ok until i logged in and saw my desktop. all my icons were gone except for recycle bin and it had a black background. and in the lower right corner there was a box saying something about my version of windows did not pass genuine windows validation. i am sure i was using genuine OS before. anyone knows how to fix this ?
but can use rite.
He formatted your laptop and installed non genuine windows. If you have the cd, you can use the key found under your laptopand activate it.
use your own OS disc with the computer and reformat it.
i dont know where the disk is. so i guess theres not much ican do
then get a new copy of OS. i think betterget a new compewter lah. now netbooks very affordable already. no opint reair the old comp.
