I came across this app called Open Garden.
What this does is to connect nearby devices with the app installed and allow non-internet connectable devices to connect to the nearest internet enabled device with Open garden.
Something like an "internet mesh".
Most people will use it for tethering their own devices quickly though.
Now, we know that local carriers do not restrict tethering on our mobile devices so it usually isn't as useful as like in the US for example. But it is still more convenient than going through the default android tethering settings.
What do you think of this? I hope some people should still be using the older larger data plans and may be feeling generous...
