I heard SITEX Expo will be coming up soon @ nov 22 -25.. So I was wondering whether I should wait for it or build a budget gaming CPU now.
My budget is around $750 - $850, excluding moniter and other accessories.
If I want to ask someone to build for me, where should I go to find one? I was planning to go to Sim Lim but I heard a lot of scams over there.
I want CPU that can at least support high-req games like battlefield 3 normally (i don't expect high-end graphics and such)
Should I wait till SITEX expo where I can get CPU cheaper there? or go ask someone to build for me?
Help please!!

By CPU I assume that you are refering to the whole PC and not just the CPU chipset...
ur budget is really tight...
Imma gonna assume that you need to buy a casing and PSU too (though with ur low budget, u shld reuse but not sure if ur current PSU can support the ur new graphic card)
low low end graphic card, casing + PSU = half ur budget gone
mid end graphic card only = half ur budget gone
I would suggest the GT520, a lower end model which can handle ur needs.
try to see around if you can find an old I7-2600 becoz the current i7-3770+mobo package = budget totally gone, or even not enuff... and the 3770 is a very small improve over 2600 for gaming needs (the 3770 is still better at stuff like photoshop than the 2600)
and u will best need a SSD...
twice ur budget is possible, but ur current is really low...
I can build you a system for $850 with a far better GPU (the GT520 is rubbish, you might as well be running IGP at this rate) but it still won't be enough to run BF3 on High.
Yes, it will run BF3 but just without much of the eye candy.
An i3 3220 + 7750 is a good balance for gaming, and with 8GB of RAM I'm trying to maximise your budget here.
Let me know if you're serious about it. We can discuss it and I'll do all the assembly for you.
