Help with getting CPU Processors in Singapore.

  I want to replace my old AMD Anthlon 7750 Dual Core Processor 2.70 GHZ

   

  I'm looking at this model,

  Does anyone know the price of this in Singapore? Also, where can i get it? Any stores in Funan that sell this or similar processors?

   

  lastly, if i am going to replace my processor, do i have to reinstall windows? I dont have the software and i dont want to buy wndows 7 again.

  No you do not need to reinstall your OS. But make sure you update your BIOS. And phenom is hard to find in SG now since its discontinued. Have a try at 2nd hand options too

  What is the model of your motherboard? You need to know if your motherboard supports the Phenom chip. 

  Typically the best way to improve performance is through adding RAM and cleaning up the registry (ccleaner) rather than replacing a CPU.
