i ever add RAM to older PC before but the new type of RAM can easily be done or need to be done by pros ?
So easy a monkey could do it.
Youtube has lots of videos showing you how.
RAM can be added and taken out easily from the computer system easily.
However there are some points to note when buying new RAMs:
1. As most motherboard only supports one type of RAMs, you need to know the type of RAM you are currently using.
It is recommended to buy the same speed and ratings as the one you are currently using, unless you are sure your motherboard can support rams with faster ratings.
Eg. You are using DDR2 with 800mhz speed, you should try to get a DDR2 with 800 mhz speed also, unless you are sure that you motherboard can support DDR2 with 800mhz or faster speeds.
2. The amount of empty slots you motherboard have, if you only have 1 more empty slot, dun buy 2 pieces of rams
After buying rams, be sure to install rams securely, a lose ram can cause the computer not to boot up.
In an event that the computer doesn't boot even if you are sure that it has been securely installed, try nudging the ram left and right.
It is a good practice to clean the ram slots before installing new rams to keep it as clean as possible
No, it is not easy.
I suggest you take out the old ram, and go to the shop to ask for a similar one.
This is because your new ram may not fit into the mother board.
An additional RAM may not increase the performance of the PC.The idea ratio is 1 processor to 2 GB ram now. Usually, you will know you need addition RAM when the PC start hang when you open a very large file, or by doing graphic or 3D processing.

Not easy.
Must get certification > MCITP, CCNA, CCIE, ITILv3
Then afterthat, login to D3, quick join a friend's game and park in town for 7x7, 49 days.
Since there is a magic combination of slot 0 + 2 and slot 1 + 3 must got simi bus, simi taxi, simi aeroplane.
If you worry, take out all RAM. Bring 1 piece to computer store, ask for similar x number of RAM Slot.
Also, check if what your OS is, all the effort is worth naught if you running XP and already have 4gb RAM or more.
