i'm more concerned with reliability and durability.............
and where is a good place to buy ?
the dreaded Sim Lim Square again ? or Funan Centre or AudioHouse ???
or wait for I.T. Show and fight the crowd ?

Since you are so anti-Israel, I'll advise you can't avoid Israeli components in your laptop.
what u mean ?
ASUS is Taiwanese mah...........all electronic components made in Asia mah.........
I dont know the best place to buy, but Asus scores in the top percentile of any of the reliability reports I've seen.
i saw the reviews on Asus too but got local people say overheating is a common problem for Asus leh...............
well thats very generic question you ask, you want to look at specific models as every brand has their good and bad models.

Assembly and board manufacture in Taiwan or China. But no one can avoid chips on the board that come from Israel.
Unless you stupidly think ASUS makes every part of the laptop themselves.

Everyone says everything overheats.
You want to buy a laptop, be prepared to deal with high heat.
