Any good way to prevent malware entry through USB?

  (My computer is now in a mess due to malware by someone's USB thumbdrive)

  Disable autorun + virus/malware scan before opening or copying anything from it. 

  A real serious user would even boot in Lunix first and perform the scan outside windows OS or at least in a closed off environment - im pretty sure there's programs available that can isolate the added drive to be checked within Windows too.

  disable a few mths ago, but it now resume autorun by itself.

  wonder is it the disabled is not permenant ?
