This has been in the news since last year, but not many people know about it.
So it's time to do some spreading...
For those who are not technically inclined, can use one of the links (links starting with dns-ok) stated in http://www.dcwg.org/detect/
If you are more technically inclined, you can do a manual check.
If it's confirmed that you are infected, you can try a clean up.
You can try the following tools:
If you are not very sure on how to clean up, the best is to seek advice in forums or reformat it. This DNS Changer is known to download other garbage... so manual clean up will require some checking, which takes some time.
Also, after clean up, need to check that router settings. Make sure that nothing has been changed by DNS Changer.
Once everything is done, secure your router. Change the default password of your router. Specifics is in the manual. If you need more help in this area, start a new topic in the forum. Someone will be able to assist.
Alternatively, wait for your ISP to send you love letter.
/me wonders if i should change my router's password.
It's actually redeemed from a starhub promo, thus the default password and user are different from factory default.
Is the default password same for every Starhub user or different?
I know Singnet one is different. If it's the same, any Starhub who has sufficient knowledge can break into the router and change the settings.
I still think it's best to change it.

The default is the same for the router of the same type.. let's say Dlink model xxx = this user id and password
Depending on the router type.. the thing about starhub is they have a range of routers from their years of promos, so i reckon it's alittle hard to guess which - but still it's quite easy since it's only sort of a few handfuls - but a good deterrent or if i piss someone off - like in the NUS hacking case, a good motivator
The reason I'm reluctant to change the password is that I'm using mac access control on top of WPA-psk, thus whenever i have a new device I would often try to dig out the starhub router addresses, user ids and passwords - thus my dilemma
for Singnet, their routers are built in right?
