I need wireless network setup advice

  Hi all ! I plan to get a wireless router to put in my room and to get a usb adaptor to connect wirelessly to the router. I have a budget of $87, what do you guys think i should get that can maximize speed(not bandwidth) and reduce interference? thanks !

  can get home plug by aztec. can extend distance, wireless become lan.. blah blah.. quite cheap also.. 40+ to 100+ ..

  Excuse me, i stated speed there. Speed = latency & bandwidth. since i said "not bandwidth", so speed here refers to latency.

  Wireless n router 300mbps.
  Wired is still the best for online gaming.

  Yes i know this and I'm sure everyone knows this.

  WirelessN use MIMO for bandwidth only not latency, so it does not meet my requirement. Anyway, i have two plans. Either i go for a 5GHz wireless N or wait for 802.11ac to come.

  So what are your requirements 

  You lambast forumers when one (razorlemon) suggested the homeplug when you clearly did not explain your purpose clearly.

  My requirement is clearly stated in the first post. speed & not bandwidth & wireless too, using the homeplug still requires wires to plug in to the computer. I did not "lambast" him, i'm just >   =.=   <  that he answered something totally opposite from what i am asking.

  Radio waves travel at the speed of light.

  It's all about how much signal data can be put in the air.

  That is why, the further your notebook away from the wireless access point, the slower (lesser mbps) you surf.

  I have a wireless N and I still can't play MMORPG games in my room.

  by speed, i'm referring to latency. i read that 2.4ghz wireless n is slower than wireless a/b/g, dont know true or not.
