  I am using MIO.

  I am using this modem 2Wire 2701HGV-E.

  Is this modem a wireless modem?

  No, its not a wireless modem, it just has a wireless router. Why would it be wirelss if you see wires sticking into it?

  You could call it a wireless modem/router. It is basically a modem and router built into one device.
