Black Screen With cursor

  Hi,

  Recently my laptop could not start up for unknown reasons, when i tried to login to my user profile, all i got was a black screen and the mouse pointer, and nothing seems to work, could not even press Ctrl Alt Del,

  Safe mode is accessible, system restore did not solve the problem, any solutions ?:)

  u mean safe mode is accessible, meaning u can open programs, see taskbar, open task manager and etc?

  When safe mode is accessible, means that the problem is due to a recently installed software/program. Go back to Safe mode and try to delete the most recently installed program and see if the problem persists.
